Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare ingredients

    cut potatoes into 1 inch pieces. Thinly slice shallot.

    start potatoes

    Cut potatoes into 1" dice. Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into a single layer and roast in hot oven until potatoes are tender and browned, 22-25 minutes.

    make meatballs

    Combine turkey with panko and ½ of parmesan. Form 8 evenly slzed meatballs. Roast in hot oven 15-18 minutes.

    make sauce

    Medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 tsp olive oil and shallot. Cook until tender 3-4 minutes. Add marinara and bring to a simmer. Add half of milk and bring to a boil 1-2 minuts.. Add remaining milk and parmesan return to boil 2-3 minutes until sauce is thickened.

    toast bun

    place rolls in oven 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Place meatballs in bun and top with sauce.
