Easy to make and delightful to eat, these Acapulco steak tacos make dinner a festive occasion. Steak strips, seasoned with taco seasoning, fill tortillas along with zesty lime slaw. Buen provecho!

You Will Need
Medium Non-Stick Pan
Before You Cook
Make Slaw and Prep Steak
Halve and juice lime.
In a mixing bowl, combine 2 tsp. lime juice, chipotle mayonnaise (to taste), 2 tsp. olive oil, slaw, and a pinch of pepper. Set aside.
Separate steak strips into a single layer and pat dry.
Start the Steak
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add steak strips to hot pan and stir occasionally until no pink remains, 4-6 minutes.
If using ground beef, or ground turkey, add a pinch of salt and follow same instructions, breaking up ground meats with a spoon, until no pink remains, 4-5 minutes for ground beef, 7-9 minutes for ground turkey.
Finish the Steak
Add ¼ cup water, taco seasoning, and a pinch of pepper to pan. Stir to incorporate, then bring to a simmer. Once simmering, cook until slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.
If using ground beef or ground turkey, follow same instructions.
Warm Tortillas and Finish Dish
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave, 30 seconds.
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, placing steak strips in tortillas and topping with lime slaw and cheese. Bon appétit!
