Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

start the potatoes
Cut potatoes into ¼"" fries and pat dry. Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, black garlic seasoning, and a pinch salt, and pepper. Spread into a single layer and bake in hot oven until lightly browned, 20 minutes, tossing fries halfway through.

Pat pickle slices dry.
Season ground beef with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Combine tempura, ¼ cup water, and a pinch of pepper.
Divide into 4 patties. Place cheese in center of two patties, then top each one with remaining patties.
Form a seal between the patties and shape into burgers.
cook burgers and finish potatoes
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat with 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add burgers to hot pan and cook 1-2 minutes per side until lightly browned.
Add to baking sheet with potatoes. Wi[e pan clean.
Cook 8-10 minutes until patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees.
cook the pickles
Line a plate with paper towel. Place canola oil in pan over medium-high heat.
Test oil temperature by adding a pinch of batter to it. It should sizzle gently. If it browns immediately, turn heat down and let oil cool. If it doesn't brown, increase heat.
Carefully place pickles in hot oil away from you. Cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
