Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

1 Roast the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/4" fries and pat dry.
Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer.Roast in hot oven until slightly browned and tender, 25-30 minutes, tossing fries halfway through.Carefully remove sheet from oven and stir in potato spice seasoning until combined. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" slices.
Pat steak strips dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces. -
3 Toast the Ciabattas
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add ciabattas, cut-side down, to hot pan. Toast until slightly browned, 1-2 minutes.Transfer ciabattas to a plate. Wipe pan clean and keep over medium-high heat. -
4 Cook the Steak Strips
Add 1 tsp. olive oil, steak strips, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until no pink remains and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes.
Add mushroom base and 1/4 cup water. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir occasionally until water is almost completely evaporated and steak strips are coated, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.While steak strips cook, continue recipe. -
5 Cook Onions and Finish Dish
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add onions and sugar to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender and slightly browned, 6-8 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom ciabatta with garlic aioli, spring mix, steak strips, onions, cheese (to taste), then top ciabatta. Bon appétit!
