Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Drain chicken, separate, and pat dry.

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging.

    In one section of provided tray, combine cream cheese, sauce, tomato paste, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for naan), and 2 Tbsp. water. In empty section, lay naan dippers flat and coat with 1/2 tsp. olive oil and remaining garlic salt.

    Microwave uncovered, 1 minute.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave. Add chicken and peas to section with sauce and mix thoroughly. Remove naan dippers to a plate. Add rice, 1 Tbsp. water, and a pinch of salt and pepper to now-empty section of tray.

    Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave until heated through, 3-4 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    To serve, top rice with chicken and sauce. Bon appétit!

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Drain chicken, separate, and pat dry.

    Cover tray with foil and place on baking sheet. Bake again covered in hot oven until rice and chicken are heated through, 10-15 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    To serve, top rice with chicken and sauce. Bon appétit!
