Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

    Bake The Steak and Vegetables

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. Reserve lid. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine peppers, corn, half the garlic salt and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Top with steak strips, remaining garlic salt and a pinch of pepper. Bake uncovered in hot oven until peppers are tender and steak is no longer pink, 15-17 minutes.

    Make The Slaw

    Combine slaw mix and chili lime dressing in a bowl,

    Warm Tortillas and Finish The Dish

    Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds. Remove pan from oven and stir in cream cheese and hot sauce until completely combined. Fill tortillas with steak mixture and top with slaw,, and crispy jalapenos. Bon appétit!
