Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Mix rice, 1/3 cup water, and chicken base in provided tray. Place cream cheese in center of tray. Cream cheese will melt into dish as it bakes. -
2 Add the Chicken and Broccoli
Add chicken in an even layer and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Top chicken with cheese.
If using shrimp, flank steak, or steak strips, follow same instructions.Add broccoli in an even layer and top with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. -
3 Bake the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 30-35 minutes.
If using shrimp, flank steak, or steak strips, bake uncovered in hot oven until meal reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 25-30 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Rest dish 5 minutes before serving. Stir to combine, and garnish with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
