Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using ground beef, add to a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Add chicken to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

1 Add the Sauce and Italian Sausage
Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary.
Combine diced peppers, crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, minced garlic and parsley, 2 tsp. olive oil, garlic salt, chimichurri seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt in provided tray.Break up Italian sausage into small pieces. Top sauce with sausage in an even layer. -
2 Start Sauce and Add Pasta
Bake uncovered in hot oven until sauce is bubbling and Italian sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 25-30 minutes.
Carefully remove tray from oven.Add pasta and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake again uncovered in hot oven until pasta is warmed through and sauce is bubbling, 10-15 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.To serve, top pasta evenly with cheese. Bon appétit!
