Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |

Prepare the Ingredients
Peel, trim, and cut carrot into 1/2" slices on an angle.

Start the Meal
In a clean slow cooker, combine carrot, pearl onions, chicken demi-glace, 1/2 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper.
Top with chicken and seasoning blend.Turn slow cooker on to high heat. Cover, and cook until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 4 hours. -
Cook the Gnocchi
After 31/2 hours, stir cream cheese and peas into slow cooker. Cover, and keep cooking.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.Working in batches if necessary, add gnocchi to hot pan and flip often until heated through, 7-9 minutes.Remove from burner. -
Finish the Dish
Stir in gnocchi and butter to fully cooked dish. Rest, 5 minutes.
