Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

    Start the Broccoli

    In provided tray, combine broccoli and 1 tsp. olive oil. Cover tray with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While broccoli bakes, continue recipe.

    Add the Meatballs

    In a mixing bowl, combine panko and 2 Tbsp. water. Let sit, 1 minute.

    After 1 minute, add ground pork and 1/4 tsp. salt. Form mixture into eight evenly-sized meatballs.

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven. Uncover broccoli and add bok choy. Stir to combine and push vegetables to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Transfer meatballs to now-empty side of tray.

    Bake Meal and Make Sauce

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 25-30 minutes.

    While meal bakes, place garlic sesame sauce in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered until heated through, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove sauce from microwave and tray from oven. Transfer meatballs to a plate.

    Stir sambal (to taste) and 1/4 tsp. salt into vegetables until combined.

    To serve, top meatballs with sauce and garnish vegetables with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
