Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Peel and halve shallots. Slice halves into thin strips.
Gently separate prosciutto slices. -
2 Cook the Shallots and Prosciutto
Line a plate with a paper towel.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add prosciutto to hot pan and stir often until crisp, 4-6 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer to towel-lined plate. Once cool enough to handle, break into bite-sized pieces.Return pan to medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add shallots to hot pan and stir occasionally until tender and lightly browned, 2-4 minutes. -
3 Add the Pasta and Sauce
Lower heat to medium and add garlic salt, cream base, peas, pasta, lemon juice, 1/4 cup water, and half the crispy prosciutto (reserve remaining for garnish) to hot pan. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, stir often until combined and pasta is heated through, 3-5 minutes.If sauce is too thick, add water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached. -
4 Add Cheese and Finish Dish
Add half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) to hot pan.
Remove from burner. Stir until cheese is melted and combined.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing pasta with remaining crispy prosciutto and remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
