Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using ground beef, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Drain and rinse beans in a colander/strainer.
Core tomatoes. Cut one into 1/2" dice and cut the other into 1/2" rounds. Keep diced tomatoes and tomato rounds separate.Trim and thinly slice green onions.In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, 1/2 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Form meat mixture into four equally-sized patties, 5" across. -
2 Toast the Rolls
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Working in batches if necessary, add rolls, cut-side down, to hot pan. Toast until slightly browned, 1-2 minutes.Replenish oil, if necessary.Transfer rolls to a plate. Wipe pan clean and keep over medium-high heat. -
3 Cook the Patties
Add 2 tsp. olive oil and patties to hot pan. Cook until turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 6-8 minutes per side.

4 Add the Cheese
Evenly top patties with cheese. Cover and cook until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.While patties cook, continue recipe. -
5 Make Cowboy Caviar and Finish Dish
Place corn in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave uncovered until heated through, 30-60 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave. Add beans, green onions, 1/2 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, 2 tsp. olive oil, diced tomatoes, and lemon juice. Stir until combined.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom roll with spring mix, tomato rounds, patty, dressing (to taste), then top roll. Bon appétit!
