To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground turkey, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

  1. 1

    Roast the Fries

Cut potatoes into ¼" fries and pat dry.

Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer.

Roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-30 minutes, tossing fries halfway through.

Remove from oven and toss with half the buttermilk-dill seasoning (reserve remaining for sauce) and cheese.

    While fries roast, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Prepare Ingredients and Make Sauce

Core tomato and cut into 1/2" rounds.

    Stem and mince dill.

Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.

In a mixing bowl, combine tzatziki sauce, half the dill (reserve remaining for beef), and green portions of green onions. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Form the Patties

In another mixing bowl, mix ground beef, remaining buttermilk dill seasoning, remaining dill, white portions of green onions, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper until completely combined.

Form mixture into two equally-sized patties, about 5" in diameter.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

Add patties to hot, dry pan.

Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.

    Remove from burner.

  5. 5

Toast Buns, Toss Arugula, and Finish Dish

Heat buns to your preference using a toaster or microwave. Alternatively, place buns directly on oven rack in hot oven, cut side up. Toast until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.

In another mixing bowl, combine arugula and 1 tsp. olive oil.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, spreading sauce on bottom bun. Top bottom bun with patty, tomatoes, arugula, and top bun. Bon appétit!
