Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using antibiotic free chicken, follow same instructions.

If using sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

1 Start the Butternut Squash
Halve any larger butternut squash pieces to roughly match smaller pieces.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 2 tsp. olive oil and butternut squash.Microwave uncovered until tender, 5-7 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave.While butternut squash microwaves, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare Ingredients and Make Crema
Core tomato and cut into 1/2" dice.
Trim cucumbers, quarter, and cut into 1/2'' dice.In a mixing bowl, combine creme fraiche, pesto, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.Pat chicken dry and season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, and garlic pepper. -
3 Assemble the Butternut Squash and Chicken
Place butternut squash on one half of prepared baking sheet. Toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and za'atar seasoning. Spread into a single layer on their side. Wipe bowl clean and reserve.
Place chicken on empty side of sheet. -
4 Roast the Butternut Squash and Chicken
Roast in hot oven until butternut squash is browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven. Stir a pinch of salt into butternut squash until combined. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.While butternut squash and chicken roast, continue recipe. -
5 Assemble Salad and Finish Dish
In reserved bowl used to microwave butternut squash, combine spring mix, tomatoes, cucumbers, dressing, and a pinch of salt.
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken with crema. Garnish butternut squash with honey and cheese. Bon appétit!
