1 Cook the Chicken
Pat chicken dry, and season all over with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add diced chicken to hot pan and stir occasionally until chicken browns and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Transfer chicken to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.While chicken cooks, cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces. -
2 Cook the Broccoli
Return pan used to cook chicken to medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add broccoli, red onion, and garlic salt to hot pan and stir occasionally, 1 minute.Add 3 Tbsp. water. Cover, and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes.If broccoli needs more time, add 2 Tbsp. water and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes. -
3 Broil the Skillet
Stir cream base, chicken, and 3 Tbsp. water into hot pan. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, remove from burner. Top evenly with panko, then cheese.Place pan under hot broiler and broil until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on pan as skillet may burn easily. -
4 Finish the Dish
