Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Cook The Chicken

    Pat chicken dry, and season both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper. Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add diced chicken to hot pan and stir occasionally until chicken browns and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes." Transfer to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.

    Cook The Broccoli

    Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Place the same pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add broccoli, red onion, and garlic salt to hot pan and cook 2-3 minutes. Add 3 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Cover, and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 5 minutes.

    Add Ingredients

    Add cream base, chicken, and 3 Tbsp. water and bring to a simmer. Top with panko and cheese. Place under broiler until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.
