We designed them for family taste buds (even picky eaters), so it's all the fresh ingredients and delicious flavors you expect from Home Chef, but simplified to require just one pot or pan. No more hours amongst the suds; one pot, one pan, one happy family!

You Will Need
Large Non-Stick Pan
Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Prepare the Ingredients
Cut broccoli into 1" pieces.
Halve lemon lengthwise. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary.
Cook the Italian Sausage
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add 2 tsp. olive oil and Italian sausage to hot pan. Break into smaller pieces until no pink remains and sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Transfer sausage to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat.
Cook the Broccoli
Add 2 tsp. olive oil and broccoli to hot pan. Cook, 1 minute.
Add 1/4 cup water. Cover, and cook until water is evaporated and broccoli begins to soften and turns bright green, 2-3 minutes.
Start the Sauce
Uncover hot pan and add flour. Stir until no dry flour remains in pan.
Stir in 1/4 cup water, cream base, chicken base, and garlic salt until combined. Bring to a simmer.Once simmering, cook until thickened and smooth, 3-4 minutes.
Finish Sauce and Finish Dish
Stir sausage, 1 Tbsp. lemon juice, pasta, and half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) into hot pan until cheese has melted, 1-2 minutes.
If too thick, add water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with crispy onions and remaining cheese. Squeeze lemon wedges over to taste. Bon appétit!
