Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Stem kale and finely chop.
Mince garlic. -
2 Cook the Turkey
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground turkey and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes. -
3 Add the Kale and Sauce
Add garlic and kale to hot pan and stir occasionally until kale is wilted, 1-2 minutes.
Add chicken base, marinara, Italian seasoning, garlic salt, 1/3 cup water, and a pinch of pepper. Bring to a simmer. -
4 Add the Pasta
Once simmering, stir occasionally until slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes.
Add pasta and butter (to taste) to hot pan. Stir occasionally until coated and heated through, 2-3 minutes.Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the butter.Remove from burner. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with cheese. Bon appétit!
