Cooking Guidelines

Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using Italian sausage, remove from casing, if necessary. Break up sausage until no pink remains and sausage reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Cook the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry. Season all over with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add shrimp to hot pan. Cook until pink and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side. -
2 Add the Sauce
Add tomatoes to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, stir in butter (to taste) until melted and combined, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the butter.While shrimp cook, continue recipe. -
3 Cook the Spinach
Place another large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add spinach to hot pan and stir occasionally until wilted, 1-2 minutes. -
4 Add Orzo and Finish Dish
Add orzo, 1/4 cup water, creme fraiche, 3/4 the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish), garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until combined and orzo is heated through, 3-5 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping orzo with shrimp. Garnish with remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
