Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using 20 oz. ground beef, follow same instructions as 10 oz., working in batches if necessary.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

If using Impossible burger, break up until burger reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Using hands, break cauliflower florets into bite-sized pieces.
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/4" dice.Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate. -
2 Start the Vegetables
Place a medium pot over medium heat. Add 1/2 tsp. olive oil, cauliflower, and bell peppers to hot pot. Stir occasionally until starting to brown, 3-5 minutes.

3 Add the Beef
Add ground beef, bacon, white portions of green onions, and a pinch of pepper to hot pot. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.
Add flour and stir often until no dry flour remains. -
4 Add Broth and Finish Dish
Add 11/2 cups water, garlic salt, cream cheese, and chicken base to hot pot. Stir often and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, reduce heat to low and stir in half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) until melted, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chowder with remaining shredded cheese and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
