Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using 20 oz. ground turkey, follow same instructions as 10 oz., working in batches if necessary.

If using ground beef or Impossible burger, break up until protein reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Quarter mushrooms.
Peel and mince shallot.Mince chives.Thinly slice garlic. -
2 Cook the Turkey and Vegetables
Place a medium pot over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground turkey, garlic, shallots, mushrooms, and pot roast seasoning to hot pot. Break up meat until vegetables are tender and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes. -
3 Start the Soup
Stir flour into hot pot until no dry flour remains.
Add chicken base and 1 1/2 cups water. Stir constantly and bring to a simmer. -
4 Finish the Soup
Once simmering, reduce heat to low.
Stir cream base and cream cheese into hot pot until combined. Return to a simmer.Once simmering, stir occasionally until soup slightly thickens, 6-8 minutes.Remove from burner and stir in a pinch of salt and pepper. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping soup with chives and shredded cheese. Bon appétit!
