Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Finely chop mushrooms.
Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.Remove casing from Italian sausage, if necessary. -
2 Form the Meatloaves
In a mixing bowl, combine Italian sausage, mushrooms, panko, and 1/2 tsp. olive oil. Form into two equally-sized, football-shaped loaves.

3 Start Meatloaves and Prepare Broccoli
Transfer meatloaves to one side of prepared baking sheet.
Bake in hot oven, 20 minutes.While meatloaves bake, combine broccoli, garlic salt, 1/2 tsp. salt, 11/2 tsp. olive oil, and red pepper flakes (to taste) in another mixing bowl. -
4 Bake the Broccoli and Meatloaves
Carefully remove baking sheet from oven. Top meatloaves evenly with marinara, then mozzarella.
Add broccoli to empty space and spread into a single layer on its side. Baking sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.Bake again in hot oven until broccoli is tender and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 10-15 minutes. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping broccoli with Parmesan. Halve meatloaves to serve, or slice, if desired. Bon appétit!
