Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Tomatoes

    Prick tomatoes all over with a fork.

    In provided tray, combine tomatoes and 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until tomatoes start to release juices, 5-7 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Using the back of a spoon, gently press tomatoes to break them down.

    Add pasta, minced garlic and lemon basil, pesto, cream cheese, 2 Tbsp. water, half the Parmesan (reserve remaining for salmon), garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper. Stir to combine. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Push to one side of tray and cover pasta side with foil.

    Add the Salmon

    Pat salmon dry and season flesh side with a pinch of pepper.

    In a mixing bowl, combine panko, remaining Parmesan, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Top flesh side of salmon evenly with mayonnaise. Place salmon, mayonnaise-side down, into panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Add salmon, skin-side down, to empty side of tray.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake half-covered (pasta covered, salmon uncovered) in hot oven until topping browns, pasta is heated through, and salmon reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven.

    To serve, top pasta with salmon. Remove salmon skin and flake, if desired. Bon appétit!
