A note about serious food allergies

You've had burgers with avocado, burgers with fried egg, burgers with special sauce, burgers with blue cheese, mushrooms, fried onions… you've had every burger combination imaginable, even the ones from imaginary burger joints in cartoons. But not this one: roasted red tomatoes and salty prosciutto sit atop a perfect meat patty, making each bite both juicy and crunchy, and just right. A new burger now sits atop the list. Tip: Getting hip to the sticks: halve your potato, then place cut side down. Slice lengthwise into 1/2" slices, then stack half the potato slices and cut again to 1/2" slices.

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using 20 oz. ground beef, follow same instructions, making four patties instead of two, and cooking until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

  • If using ground turkey, follow same instructions as ground beef in Step 3, cooking until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

  • If using Impossible burger, follow same instructions as ground beef in Step 3, cooking until burger is heated through, 4-6 minutes per side.

  1. 1

    Bake the Fries

Cut potatoes into ½"-thick fries. Pat dry. Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, tomato seasoning, ¼ tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Massage oil and seasoning into potatoes. Spread into a single layer and bake in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-28 minutes, flipping fries halfway through. While fries bake, crisp prosciutto.

  2. 2

    Crisp the Prosciutto

Remove prosciutto from refrigerator. Place prosciutto on a microwave-safe plate and microwave until crisp, 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Burgers

Form ground beef into two evenly-sized patties. Season both sides with garlic pepper and a pinch of salt and pepper. Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add patties to hot pan. Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side. Remove patties to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Toast Buns and Chop Tomatoes

Place buns in hot pan, cut side down, and toast until golden brown, 1-2 minutes. Remove from burner. Coarsely chop tomatoes.

  5. 5

    Finish the Dish

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, spreading garlic aioli on cut side of buns and topping bottom bun with patties, tomatoes, prosciutto, and top bun. Bon appétit!
