If using ground turkey, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

1 Roast the Sweet Potato Fries
Peel sweet potatoes, if desired. Cut into 1/4" fries.
Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil and 1/4 tsp. salt. Spread into an even layer.Roast in hot oven, 15 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Flip fries and evenly top with grated cheese. Sheet and fries will be hot! Use a utensil/caution.Roast again in hot oven until fries are browned and tender, 15-20 minutes.Carefully remove from oven.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare Onion and Form Patties
Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/2" rounds.
Form ground beef into two equally-sized patties, 5" across. Season both sides with half the Cajun seasoning (use less if spice-averse; reserve remaining for onions) and a pinch of salt. -
3 Cook the Patties
Summertime, and the grilling is easy! To grill this burger, heat grill to medium. Follow same instructions, grilling until browned and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add patties to hot pan. Cook until slightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side. Evenly top patties with shredded cheese. Cover and cook until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.While patties cook, continue recipe. -
4 Cook the Onions
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add onions and remaining Cajun seasoning (to taste) to hot pan. Stir occasionally until onions are tender and caramelized, 5-6 minutes.If pan is dry, add water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, as needed.Remove from burner.While onions cook, continue recipe. -
5 Heat Buns and Finish Dish
Heat buns to your preference using a toaster or microwave.
Alternatively, place buns directly on rack in hot oven, cut-side up. Toast until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, spreading remoulade on cut-side of buns. Top bottom bun with half the onions, patty, remaining onions, then top bun. Bon appétit!
