Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground beef, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

1 Cook the Sausage
Break up sausage into bite-sized pieces and place in an even layer in provided tray.
Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.Sausage will finish cooking in a later step.Carefully remove from oven and drain excess liquid. Break up sausage. Use a spatula for best results. -
2 Add the Sauce
Evenly top sausage with marinara, spinach, noodles, cream cheese, and 2 Tbsp. water. Stir to combine.
Cover with foil. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake covered in hot oven until noodles are heated through and Italian sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 10-15 minutes.
Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in 3/4 the softened butter (to taste; remaining is yours to use as you please!) until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Crush croutons in shipping bag.To serve, garnish with croutons. Bon appétit!
