Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Make Fries

    Cut potatoes into ½" fries and pat dry. Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into a single layer and bake in hot oven until lightly browned, 15 minutes. Carefully remove from oven and gently flip fries. Return to oven and bake until golden brown, 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven and toss with furikake seasoning.

    Prepare ingredients

    Trim cucumber and thinly slice into rounds. Halve lime and juice. Mix mayonnaise and 2 tsp lime juice together in a mixing bowl and set aside.

    Make Slaw

    Add red cabbage, cucumber, sesame oil, 2 tsp lime juice and half the teriyaki sauce into a mixing bowl and mix to evenly coat.

    Make Burgers

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add patties to hot pan. Cook until browned and patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side. Remove to plate, wipe out pan and reserve.

    Toast buns and plate

    Return pan to medium-high heat. Place buns in pan cut side down and cook until lightly toasted 1-2 minutes. Assemble burger with buns, patties, remaining teriyaki, and slaw. Plate with fries and lime aioli.
