To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using filets mignon, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

1 Prepare the Sweet Potatoes
Prick sweet potatoes all over with a fork.
Place sweet potatoes on a microwave-safe plate and evenly top with 1 tsp. olive oil.Microwave, 5 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave and flip. Sweet potatoes will be hot! Use a utensil.Microwave again until tender, 4-6 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave.While sweet potatoes microwave, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare Ingredients and Make Miso Butter
Trim bottom ends from broccolini. If stalks are too thick, slice in half lengthwise.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.In a mixing bowl, combine miso base, smoked maple seasoning, and half the softened butter (reserve remaining for sauce). Set aside.Pat steaks dry and season both sides with steak seasoning and a pinch of salt and pepper. -
3 Roast the Vegetables
Place microwaved sweet potatoes on one half of prepared baking sheet. Sweet potatoes will be hot! Use a utensil.
Place broccolini on empty side of sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, a pinch of salt, and garlic pepper. Spread into a single layer on their side.Roast in hot oven until vegetables are browned and fork-tender, 8-10 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Transfer sweet potatoes to a clean, flat work surface. Let cool, 5 minutes.After 5 minutes, or once cool enough to handle, halve lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through.While vegetables roast, continue recipe. -
4 Cook the Steaks
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add steaks to hot pan. Cook until steaks reach desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well.Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.Remove from burner. Transfer steaks to a plate and cover with foil. Rest, 3 minutes.While steaks cook, continue recipe. -
5 Make Sauce and Finish Dish
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mushroom base and 1 tsp. water. Cover with a damp paper towel.
Microwave covered until heated through, 30-60 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave and stir in remaining softened butter until combined.Plate dish as pictured on font of card, topping steak with sauce and green portions of green onions. Garnish sweet potato with miso butter and top vegetables with white portions of green onions. Slice steak, if desired. Bon appétit!
