Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Cook the Pork

    Pat pork chops dry. Season both sides with rotisserie chicken seasoning and half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for green beans and rice).

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.

    Working in batches if necessary, add pork to hot pan. Cook until golden-brown and chops reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.

    Pork thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner chop, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.

    While pork cooks, continue recipe.

    Cook the Green Beans

    Mince dill.

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

    Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.

    Add green beans to hot pan and cook, 1 minute.

    After 1 minute, add 1/3 cup water, half the remaining garlic salt (reserve remaining for rice), lemon n herb seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, cover and cook until green beans are tender, 6-8 minutes.

    If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water, cover, and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes.

    Uncover; stir in 1/2 Tbsp. softened salted butter (reserve remaining for glaze) until melted and combined, 3-60 seconds.

    Remove from burner. Stir in 1 tsp. dill (to taste) until combined.

    While green beans cook, continue recipe.

    Heat the Rice

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.

    Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 4-5 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.

    Stir in softened roasted garlic & herb butter, remaining garlic salt, and a pinch of salt until combined. Fluff rice with a fork.

    Make Glaze and Finish Dish

    Place apricot preserves in another microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in 1/2 Tbsp. softened salted butter and a pinch of salt until combined.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pork chop with glaze. Slice pork chop, if desired. Bon appétit!
