A note about serious food allergies

The melding of pungent garlic, bright lemon, and rich and creamy butter… is there anything better? Anything more delicious? Well yes, when you let that baby melt all over a piece of fresh, meaty, delectable tuna. Good things come in threes. Tip: Line 'em up! The best way to remove the ends of green beans is to line them up evenly, then remove them with one cut.

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using chicken breasts, follow same instructions as tuna in Step 4, cooking until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using filets mignon, follow same instructions as tuna in Step 4, cooking until steaks reach minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side. Rest, 3 minutes.

  1. 1

    Start Potatoes and Prepare Ingredients

    Cut potatoes into 1/2" dice.

Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil and 1/4 tsp. salt. Massage oil and salt into potatoes.

Spread into a single layer and roast in hot oven, 10 minutes.

While potatoes roast, trim ends off green beans.

Zest and halve lemon. Cut halves into wedges.

    Mince rosemary.

  2. 2

    Finish Potatoes and Roast Garlic

After 10 minutes, carefully remove baking sheet from oven and gently stir potatoes. Top with 1 tsp. rosemary and cheese. Baking sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

Place garlic on a piece of foil and top with 2 tsp. olive oil. Wrap foil around garlic into a pouch. Place pouch on any empty space on baking sheet.

Roast in hot oven until garlic is soft and potatoes are browned and tender, 15-18 minutes.

While potatoes and garlic roast, cook green beans.

  3. 3

    Cook the Green Beans

Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add green beans to hot pan and cook, 1 minute.

Add 1/4 cup water, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Cover, and cook until tender, 6-8 minutes.

If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes.

Remove from burner. Gently stir in pesto until completely coated.

While green beans cook, cook tuna.

  4. 4

    Cook the Tuna

Pat tuna dry, and season both sides with pink seasoned salt.

Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.

Add tuna to hot pan and cook until tuna reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-5 minutes per side. Tuna is often enjoyed medium-rare (pink in the middle). For medium-rare, cook 1-2 minutes per side. Consuming raw or undercooked tuna may increase your risk for food-borne illness.

    Remove from burner.

  5. 5

Make Lemon Garlic Butter and Finish Dish

Carefully remove garlic pouch from baking sheet. Transfer roasted garlic to clean cutting board and mince.

Transfer garlic to a mixing bowl and add softened butter and 1 tsp. lemon zest. Stir until combined.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping tuna with lemon garlic butter. Squeeze lemon wedges over tuna to taste. Bon appétit!
