Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground turkey, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

1 Roast the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/4" fries and pat dry. Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 4 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer.
Roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-30 minutes, tossing once halfway through.Carefully remove from oven. Add ranch seasoning and stir to combine. Sheet and fries will be hot! Use a utensil.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Core tomato and cut into 1/2" rounds.
Peel and halve shallot. Slice thinly.Form ground beef into two equally-sized patties, about 5" in diameter. Season patties on both sides with barbeque seasoning (use less if spice-averse) and a pinch of salt. -
3 Toast the Buns
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat. Spray cut-sides of buns with cooking spray. Add buns, cut-side down, to hot, dry pan and toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner. Transfer buns to a plate and set aside. Wipe pan clean and reserve. -
4 Make the Bacon-Shallot Spread
Return pan used to toast buns to medium heat.
Add bacon and shallots to hot pan. Stir occasionally until bacon is crispy and shallots are browned, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner.Transfer bacon-shallot mixture to a heat-safe mixing bowl. Add softened cream cheese and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until combined. Set aside. -
5 Cook Patties and Finish Dish
Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add patties to hot pan. Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.Top patties with cheese slices (to taste). Cover and let melt, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with patty, tomatoes, bacon-shallot spread, then top bun. Bon appétit!
