Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using Italian sausage, remove from casing. Follow same instructions as ground beef in Step 3, omitting seasoning blend.

If using ground turkey, follow same instructions as ground beef in Step 3, breaking up meat with a spoon until no pink remains, 7-9 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients
Stem poblano pepper, seed, and cut into 1/2" dice. Poblano peppers can vary in spice level; most are mild, but a few can be quite hot. Wash hands and cutting board after prepping.

Par-Bake the Flatbreads
Place flatbreads on prepared baking sheet, flat-side up. Place under hot broiler and broil until beginning to brown around edges, 1-2 minutes.
Keep an eye on oven as flatbreads may burn easily under broiler. -
Cook the Beef Mixture
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add poblano pepper to hot pan and stir occasionally until starting to char, 1-2 minutes.
Add ground beef and seasoning blend and stir occasionally until poblano is tender and no pink remains on beef, 4-6 minutes.Remove from burner. Drain fat from beef if desired. -
Assemble Flatbreads and Finish Dish
Combine 2 Tbsp. water, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, 30 seconds.
Stir again, and microwave again until smooth, 30 seconds.Place flatbreads on a clean work surface. Spread cream cheese-cheddar sauce evenly on flatbreads. Top with beef mixture, salsa and mozzarella. Broil again until mozzarella is melted, 1-2 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
