Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

If using sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

1 Cook the Beef
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef to hot, dry pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Drain any excess liquid. Pan will be hot! Use caution.Add garlic salt and light chili powder (to taste). Stir occasionally until combined, 30-60 seconds.Transfer beef to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat; no need to wipe clean. -
2 Cook the Peppers
Add 2 tsp. olive oil, diced peppers, fiesta seasoning, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender, 6-8 minutes.

3 Add the Sauce and Beef
Add tomato sauce, chicken base, hot sauce (to taste), and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, stir in beef until combined, 20-30 seconds.Remove from burner.While sauce cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Heat Noodles and Finish Dish
Place noodles and 1 Tbsp. water in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover with a damp paper towel.
Microwave covered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave and drain any excess water. Stir in softened butter and 1/4 tsp. salt until combined.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping noodles with beef and sauce and garnishing with sour cream and cheese. Bon appétit!
