- 8 oz. Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes
- 6 oz. Mixed Diced Peppers
- 3 oz. Diced White Onion
- 2 oz. Bacon Bits
- 4 tsp. Chicken Broth Concentrate
- 2 tsp. Minced Garlic and Chili Pepper
- ½ fl. oz. Hot Sauce
- 2 tsp. Blackening Seasoning

Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Start the Chicken and Vegetables
Pat chicken dry. Season all over with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.
Evenly divide chicken, bacon, onions, and diced peppers between both provided trays.Top each tray with 2 tsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine and spread into an even layer.Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.Chicken will finish cooking in a later step.Carefully remove from oven and drain any excess liquid. -
2 Add the Rice
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.
Evenly divide tomatoes, blackening seasoning, chicken base, minced garlic and chili pepper (use less if spice-averse), and rice between both trays.Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the minced garlic and chili pepper. Stir to combine and spread into an even layer. Cover trays with foil. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake both trays covered in hot oven until rice is heated through and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.To serve, stir in hot sauce (to taste). Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the hot sauce. Bon appétit!
