Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using ground turkey, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

1 Roast the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/4"-thick fries and pat dry.
Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, garlic pepper, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer.Roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-30 minutes, tossing once halfway through.Carefully remove fries from oven and toss with 1 tsp. rosemary (prepared in a later step). Baking sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Stem and mince rosemary.
Halve and peel onion. Slice halves into thin strips.Form ground beef into two equally-sized patties, about 5" in diameter. Season both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper. -
3 Caramelize the Onions
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add onions and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until softened and browned, 10-12 minutes.Add sugar and wine. Bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir occasionally until wine is almost entirely evaporated, 1-2 minutes.If pan becomes dry, add water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, as needed.Remove from burner.While onions caramelize, continue recipe. -
4 Toast the Buns
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add buns, cut-side down, to hot pan. Toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes.Transfer buns to a plate. Keep pan over medium heat. -
5 Cook Patties and Finish Dish
Add 1 tsp. olive oil and patties to hot pan. Cook until browned and patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.
Remove from burner. Top patties evenly with cheese (to taste). Cover until melted, 1-2 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with caramelized onions, patty, arugula, and top bun. Bon appétit!
