Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

1 Cook the Chicken
Pat chicken dry and season all over with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add chicken to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Transfer chicken to a plate. Keep pan over medium heat; no need to wipe clean. -
2 Start the Sauce
Add 2 tsp. olive oil, minced garlic and parsley, and tomatoes to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, add spinach and a pinch of salt. Stir occasionally until spinach is wilted, 1-2 minutes. -
3 Finish the Sauce
Add cream base to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, stir in cheese (reserve a pinch for garnish) until melted and combined, 1-2 minutes. -
4 Add Chicken and Pasta and Finish Dish
Add chicken and any accumulated juices, pasta, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Stir often until combined and heated through, 2-3 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
