Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Halve tomatoes. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions.

    Pat chicken dry. Season all over with lemon n herb seasoning and a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Cook the Chicken

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Add chicken to hot pan. Stir occasionally until golden-brown and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

    Transfer chicken to a plate. Keep pan over medium heat; no need to wipe clean.

    Heat Pasta and Add Chicken

    Add 1 tsp. olive oil, tomatoes, spinach in batches (don't overflow pan), and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan. Stir often until combined and spinach is wilted, 2-3 minutes.

    Add cream base, grated cheese, cream cheese, 1/2 cup water, a pinch of salt, and garlic salt. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, stir often until sauce is slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.

    If too thick, add additional water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

    Add pasta and chicken. Stir often until combined and pasta is heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Broil Garlic Bread and Finish Dish

    Open rolls and separate halves. Evenly spread softened butter on cut-side of rolls. Kids want to help? With supervision, have them help prepare the garlic bread.

    Place rolls, cut-side up, on prepared baking sheet.

    Boil under hot broiler until rolls are slightly browned and toasted, 1-2 minutes.

    Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as rolls may burn easily under broiler.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, slicing garlic bread into triangles, if desired. Bon appétit!
