Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Chicken 165° F |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, follow same instructions as ground pork in Steps 2 and 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

  • If using Impossible burger, follow same instructions as ground pork in Steps 2 and 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until heated through, 20-25 minutes.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Combine broccoli, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1 tsp. olive oil in provided tray.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    Add the Meatballs

    Finely crush saltines.

    Mix ground pork, saltines, mayonnaise, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper in a mixing bowl until completely combined. Form into six equally-sized meatballs.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in corn and push to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Add meatballs to empty side of tray.

    Finish the Dish

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, combine BBQ sauce, ketchup, 2 Tbsp. water, a pinch of salt, and chipotle pepper paste (to taste) in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove tray from oven and stir half the cheese into vegetables. Top vegetables with remaining cheese and top meatballs with BBQ sauce mixture. Bon appétit!
