Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using ground beef, bake uncovered in hot oven until meatballs reach minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

1 Start the Meal
Spray provided tray with cooking spray.
In prepared provided tray, combine carrots, 1/2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Massage oil and seasonings into carrots. Push to one side of tray.In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, panko, mayonnaise, half the gochujang (use less if spice-averse; reserve remaining for topping), soy sauce, and a pinch of pepper. Form mixture into 6 equally-sized meatballs and place in empty side of tray.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.Meatballs will finish cooking in a later step.While meal bakes, continue recipe. -
2 Add the Snow Peas and Sauce
Trim ends off snow peas, if desired.
In another mixing bowl, combine katsu sauce, remaining gochujang (to taste), and 1 Tbsp. water. Set aside.After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven. Drain any excess liquid from tray. Tray will be hot! Use caution.Add snow peas and 1/2 tsp. olive oil to carrots and stir to combine. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Evenly top meatballs with half the sauce mixture (use less if spice-averse; reserve remaining for garnish). -
3 Finish the Meal
Bake again uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 10-15 minutes.
Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir miso base and butter into vegetables until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.To serve, top meatballs with remaining sauce mixture (to taste) and wonton strips. Garnish vegetables with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
