Who's excited for piles of dishes that stretch from floor to ceiling? Anybody...anybody....Bueller...? Hey, no problem! These one pot (or pan), four-serving meals are made with you in mind. We designed them for family taste buds (even picky eaters), so it's all the fresh ingredients and delicious flavors you expect from Home Chef, but simplified to require just one pot or pan. No more hours amongst the suds; one pot, one pan, one happy family!

Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Ground Pork 160° F
Chop broccili into 1" pieces
Halve lemon lengthwise. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.
Cook Italian Sausage
"Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add 2 tsp. olive oil and Italian sausage to hot pan. Break into smaller pieces until no pink remains and sauasge reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes."
Transfer sausage from pan to plate.
heat 2 tsp oil in pan. add broccoli to hot pan.
saute for 1 minutes.
carefully add ¼ cup of water and cover.
cook until water is gone and broccoli begins to soften and is bright green, 2-3 minutes.
add flour and mix until no dry flour remains.
add 1 ¼ cup of water, cream base, chicken broth and garlic salt.
mix well and bring to a simmer.
allow to simmer for 3-4 minutes until mixture is slightly thickened and smooth.
add sausage, 1 Tbsp lemon juice, pasta and ½ of parmesan.
mix well until parmesan has melted. If sauce is too thick, add 1 Tbsp. water until desired consistency is reached.
Garnish with crispy onions, remaining parmesan and a lemon wedge. Bon appetite!
