Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Trim stems off Brussels sprouts and halve vertically (quarter if larger than a ping-pong ball).

    Combine panko and grated cheese on a plate and spread into an even layer.

    Pat pork chops dry. Season both sides with garlic salt and a pinch of pepper. Place pork chops onto plate with panko mixture and coat one side, pressing gently to adhere.

    Cook the Pork Chops

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add pork chops to hot pan. Cook until golden-brown and chops reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 3-5 minutes per side.

    Pork thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner chop, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Remove from burner. Transfer pork to another plate. Rest, 3 minutes.

    While pork cooks, continue recipe.

    Cook the Brussels Sprouts

    Place another medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add Brussels sprouts, 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Cover and stir occasionally until water is almost completely evaporated, 3-4 minutes.

    Uncover and stir occasionally until Brussels sprouts are tender, 3-5 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Stir in softened butter until melted and combined.

    While Brussels sprouts cook, continue recipe.

    Make Sauce and Finish Dish

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese, minced garlic and parsley, a pinch of salt, and 1 Tbsp. water.

    Microwave uncovered until heated through, 45-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pork chop with sauce. Bon appétit!
