    cook the pasta

    standard operating procedure

    prepare the ingredients

    cut french roll into 1/2" dice.

    tomatoes into 1/2" dice.

    coarsely chop romaine.

    make the croutons

    heat 2 tsp. olive oil in a large non-stick pan over medium heat.

    bread in hot pan. 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown.

    remove from burner, and season with half the garlic salt.

    remove to a plate.

    wipe pan clean.

    cook the steak

    same pan used for the croutons over medium-high heat. steak in hot pan 5-7 minutes until temp.

    remove from burner and season with remaining garlic salt.

    make the dressing

    in a large bowl, mayo, cheese, vinegar, 1/4 cup water, and a pinch of pepper.
