Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

1 Prepare The Ingredients
Mince garlic Halve and peel onion. Slice halves into thin strips. Break pasta sheets in half.

2 Start The Meal
Combine crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, bacon, and 1 cup water in a bowl. In a clean slow cooker, Create three lasagna layers. Start with ⅓ pieces of ground turkey, garlic salt, onion, garlic, sauce mixture (reserve ½ cup for the top), mozarella (reserve ½ cup for the top) and dollop with ricotta and top with pasta pieces. You may have to cut pasta to fit. Repeat two more times, finishing with a pasta layer. Pour reserved sauce mixture over top, covering lasagna. Top with reserved mozzarella. Turn slow cooker on to high heat. Cover, and cook until turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4 hours.
