Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Microwave Instructions

    Drain and rinse beans in a colander/strainer.

    Drain brisket and separate slices.

    In provided tray, combine brisket, corn, beans, and BBQ sauce. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered until warmed through, 2-4 minutes.

    While meal heats, in a mixing bowl, combine slaw mix, dressing (to taste), and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave and stir to combine.

    Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.

    If tortillas come folded, keep folded.

    To serve, fill tortillas with brisket mixture and top with slaw (to taste) and crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Make sure to use conventional oven setting, not convection.

    Drain and rinse beans in a colander/strainer.

    Drain brisket and separate slices.

    In provided tray, combine brisket, corn, beans, and BBQ sauce. Cover tray with foil. Place tray on a baking sheet.

    Bake covered in hot oven until warmed through, 12-15 minutes.

    While meal bakes, in a mixing bowl, combine slaw mix, dressing (to taste), and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

    Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.

    If tortillas come folded, keep folded.

    To serve, fill tortillas with brisket mixture and top with slaw (to taste) and crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!
