You Will Need
Large Non-Stick Pan
Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
Seafood 145° F |
Chicken 165° F |
Ground Beef 160° F |
Ground Turkey 165° F |
Ground Pork 160° F
Roast the Sweet Potatoes
Place sweet potatoes on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, ¼ tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer. Roast in hot oven until browned and tender, 15-17 minutes.
Rest, 5 minutes.
While sweet potatoes roast, cook patties.

Cook the Patties
Combine ground pork, sriracha (to taste), tamari, and seasoning blend in a mixing bowl until combined. Form into two patties, about 5" in diameter.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add patties to hot pan. Cook until lightly charred and patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-6 minutes per side.
Transfer to a plate. Wipe pan clean and reserve.

Toast the Buns
Return pan used to cook patties to low heat. Place buns, cut side down, to hot, dry pan. Toast until lightly browned, 2-3 minutes.
Remove from burner.

Make the Slaw
Combine slaw mix and sweet chili sauce (to taste) in a mixing bowl.
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with mayonnaise, patty, slaw, and top bun. Bon appétit!
