Recipe Steps

You Will Need

  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 Colander
  • 1 Medium Pot
  • 1 Large Non-Stick Pan

Before You Cook

    Boil the Pasta

    Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 10-12 minutes. Reserve ½ cup pasta cooking water. Drain pasta into a colander and set aside. While pasta boils, prepare ingredients.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Halve tomatoes. Coarsely crush Parmesan crisps. Coarsely chop walnuts. Coarsely chop spinach. On a separate cutting board, remove Italian sausage from casing and break into bite-size pieces.

    Cook the Sausage

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add sausage to hot pan and stir occasionally until no pink remains, 4-6 minutes.

    Make the Sauce

    Add half the reserved pasta cooking water, cream cheese, and pesto, and stir until combined. Add grape tomatoes, pasta, spinach, and ¼ tsp. salt, and stir occasionally until sauce thickens to coat pasta, 2-3 minutes. If too thick, add remaining pasta cooking water, 1 Tbsp. at a time. Remove from burner.
