Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Prepare The Ingredients

    Zest and halve lemon. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.

    Halve tomatoes.

    Mince garlic.

    Cook The Salmon

    Pat salmon fillets dry, and season flesh side with seasoning blend and a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 tsp. olive oil and salmon, skin side up, to hot pan. Sear on one side until golden brown, 2-4 minutes. Transfer to prepared baking sheet, seared side up. Roast in hot oven until salmon is firm and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 7-10 minutes.

    Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.

    Cook The Vegetables and Pasta

    In the same pan over medium high heat, add 2 tsp olive oil. Add tomatoes and garlic to pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, 5-7 minutes.

    Add pasta to medium pot of water and cook 3 minutes. Drain.

    Add Pasta

    Add white wine, mirepoix concentrate, and 2 Tbsp lemon juice and bring to a simmer.

    Add cornstarch and 1/4 cup water to a small bowl until combined. Add cornstarch mixture and pasta and bring to a simmer.

    Make Crema and Finish The Dish

    Add sour cream and lemon zest to a small bowl until completely combined.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with chives. Bon appétit!
