  • Salt

  • 1 Medium Pot
  • 1 Large Non-Stick Pan

Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using 16 oz. shrimp, follow same instructions as 8 oz., working in batches if necessary.

    Cook the Pasta

    Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 11-13 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta cooking water. Drain pasta in a colander and set aside.

    While pasta cooks, continue recipe.

    Prepare Ingredients and Toast Panko

    Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

    Mince garlic.

    Pat shrimp dry.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add panko to hot pan and stir often until light golden-brown, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Transfer to a plate. Return pan to medium heat.

    Cook the Broccoli and Shrimp

    Add 1 tsp. olive oil, broccoli, and 2 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 2-3 minutes.

    Uncover and add 1 tsp. olive oil, shrimp, and garlic. Stir occasionally until shrimp turn pink and reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side.

    Add the Sauce and Pasta

    Add cream base, poultry seasoning, a pinch of salt and pepper, and cheese to hot pan. Bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, stir in pasta and 2 Tbsp. reserved pasta cooking water. Stir occasionally until sauce is lightly thickened and pasta is coated, 1-2 minutes.

    If sauce is too thick, add additional reserved pasta cooking water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

    Stir in lemon juice. Remove from burner.

    Finish the Dish
