Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    prepare the ingredients

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Break broccoli into smaller pieces. Combine broccoli, 2 tsp olive oil, 2 Tbsp. water, steak strips, ¼ tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Spread into a single layer and cover tray with foil. Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    add the pasta

    Carefully, remove tray from oven and remove foil. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil! Add ziti and sauce to tray, and stir to combine.

    finish the dish

    Bake again uncovered until broccoli is tender and no pink remains in steak strips, 8-10 minutes. Carefully remove tray from oven. Garnish with shredded parmesan. Bon appétit!
